Description

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, lemon zest, and salt in a bowl.
  2. Add eggs and melted butter, knead into a smooth dough.
  3. Roll the dough into small balls (about 2cm diameter).
  4. Heat oil in a deep pan and fry the balls until golden brown.
  5. Drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
  6. Heat honey or prepare sugar glaze in a saucepan.
  7. Toss the fried balls in the honey or glaze until coated.
  8. Shape into a wreath or pyramid on a serving plate.
  9. Decorate with sprinkles or nuts if desired.
  10. Let cool before serving.
