- 100g dried seaweed (rehydrated)
- 200g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 egg
- 150ml water
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Rehydrate the seaweed in water for 10 minutes, then drain and chop finely.
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the chopped seaweed, egg, and water to form a thick batter.
- Heat oil in a deep pan to 180°C (350°F).
- Drop spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown (2-3 minutes).
- Drain on paper towels and serve warm.

- Use fresh oil for frying to avoid off flavors.
- Serve with a squeeze of lemon or dipping sauce.
