Description
A traditional Italian celebration cake for a boy’s first communion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 300g all-purpose flour
- 200g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 150g butter
- 100ml milk
- 1 packet baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- Mix flour, sugar, and baking powder in a bowl.
- Add eggs, melted butter, milk, vanilla, and salt. Mix well.
- Pour batter into a greased cake pan.
- Bake for 40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before decorating.
Notes
- Decorate with white icing and religious symbols.
- Serve at room temperature.
