Description

- 200g sugar
- 150g butter, softened
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 100ml milk
- Pinch of salt
- Pink food coloring (optional)
- 100g powdered sugar (for icing)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Mix butter and sugar until creamy.
- Add eggs one by one, mixing well after each.
- Stir in vanilla extract.
- Combine flour, baking powder, and salt, then gradually add to the mixture.
- Pour in milk and mix until smooth.
- Add a few drops of pink food coloring if desired.
- Pour batter into a greased cake pan and bake for 30-35 minutes.
- Let it cool, then dust with powdered sugar or decorate as preferred.
Notes
- Use a round cake pan for best results.
- Check doneness with a toothpick before removing from the oven.
- Decorate with fresh flowers or fondant for a special touch.
