- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

- 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced

- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch cake pans.
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time.
- Alternate adding dry ingredients and heavy cream to the batter.
- Divide batter between pans and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Let cakes cool, then spread jam between layers.
- Top with whipped cream and fresh strawberries.

- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
