Description
Classic English roast beef served with a rich sauce.
Ingredients

- 1 kg beef roast
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 sprig rosemary
- 1 cup beef stock
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 tbsp butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- Rub beef with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic.
- Place rosemary on top of the beef.
- Roast for 1 hour or until desired doneness.
- Remove beef and let rest.
- In a pan, melt butter, add flour, and cook for 1 minute.
- Slowly whisk in beef stock to make the sauce.
- Slice beef and serve with the sauce.

- Let beef rest before slicing for juicier meat.
- Adjust cooking time based on beef thickness.
