Description

A creamy and refreshing strawberry panna cotta, perfect for Valentine’s Day.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 500 ml heavy cream
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 vanilla bean
  • 5 g gelatin sheets
  • 200 g fresh strawberries
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Soak the gelatin sheets in cold water for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat the cream and sugar in a saucepan over low heat until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Split the vanilla bean and scrape the seeds into the cream.
  4. Squeeze excess water from the gelatin and stir it into the warm cream until dissolved.
  5. Pour the mixture into serving glasses and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  6. Blend the strawberries and lemon juice until smooth.
  7. Top the chilled panna cotta with the strawberry sauce before serving.
