- 400g paccheri pasta
- 800g canned whole tomatoes
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 50g grated pecorino cheese
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to boil.
- Cook paccheri according to package instructions until al dente.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add tomatoes, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 15 minutes.
- Drain pasta and mix with sauce.
- Stir in basil and serve with pecorino cheese.
