Description

A festive Christmas menu featuring traditional dishes to celebrate the holiday season.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 500g pasta
  • 200g grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1kg beef roast
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 sprig rosemary
  • 4 potatoes
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 onion
  • 200ml red wine
  • 100g butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Season the beef roast with salt, pepper, garlic, and rosemary.
  3. Place the roast in a roasting pan with chopped potatoes, carrots, and onion.
  4. Pour red wine over the roast and cover with foil.
  5. Bake for 2 hours, removing the foil for the last 30 minutes.
  6. Boil pasta in salted water until al dente.
  7. Drain pasta and toss with butter and Parmesan cheese.
  8. Serve the roast with vegetables and pasta on the side.

Notes

  • Let the roast rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  • Adjust seasoning to your preference.
