Description

Soft and fluffy cinnamon rolls with a sweet cinnamon filling and creamy glaze.


Ingredients

  • 2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp milk

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, sugar, salt, and yeast in a bowl.
  2. Heat milk, water, and melted butter until warm. Add to dry ingredients with egg.
  3. Knead dough until smooth. Let rise for 1 hour.
  4. Roll dough into a rectangle. Spread softened butter and sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon.
  5. Roll tightly, slice into 12 pieces, and place in a greased pan. Let rise 30 minutes.
  6. Bake at 375°F for 20 minutes.
  7. Mix powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk for glaze. Drizzle over warm rolls.
