Description
Biscotti are traditional Italian almond biscuits known for their crunchy texture. They are twice-baked, making them perfect for dipping in coffee or wine.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup almonds, toasted and roughly chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Beat eggs and vanilla in another bowl. Add to dry ingredients. Stir in almonds.
- Shape dough into a log on the baking sheet. Bake for 25 minutes.
- Let cool for 10 minutes. Slice diagonally into 1/2-inch pieces.
- Bake slices for another 15 minutes, flipping halfway, until crisp.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
- For variation, add chocolate chips or dried fruit.
