Instructions
- Mix flour, sugar, salt, and lemon zest in a bowl.
- Add the egg, olive oil, and white wine. Knead into a smooth dough.
- Roll the dough thinly on a floured surface.
- Cut into strips or rectangles, then twist or shape as desired.
- Fry in hot oil until golden, about 1-2 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.
- Dust with powdered sugar if desired before serving.
