Description
Biscotti San Valentino are classic Italian almond cookies, perfect for Valentine’s Day. They are crunchy, slightly sweet, and ideal for dipping in coffee or dessert wine.
Ingredients

- 200g all-purpose flour
- 100g granulated sugar
- 100g almonds, whole or chopped
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, then knead into a dough.
- Fold in the almonds.
- Shape the dough into a log and place on a baking tray.
- Bake for 25 minutes, then let cool slightly.
- Slice into 1cm-thick pieces and bake for another 10 minutes until crisp.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
- For extra flavor, add lemon zest or almond extract.
