Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped almonds
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 tbsp melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla extract. Stir until dough forms.
  4. Fold in almonds and cranberries.
  5. Shape dough into a log on the baking sheet. Flatten slightly.
  6. Bake for 25 minutes. Let cool for 10 minutes.
  7. Slice log diagonally into 1-inch pieces.
  8. Place slices back on the baking sheet. Bake for another 10 minutes per side until golden.
  9. Cool completely before serving.
