Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup almonds, chopped
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp almond extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Add eggs, vanilla, and almond extract. Stir until dough forms.
- Fold in chopped almonds.
- Shape dough into two logs on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 25 minutes. Remove and let cool for 10 minutes.
- Slice logs diagonally into 1-inch pieces.
- Bake slices for another 10 minutes until golden.
- Cool completely before serving.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
- For extra crunch, toast almonds before adding.
