Description

Crisp almond biscotti coated in a sweet glaze, perfect for Valentine’s Day.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp almond extract
  • 1 cup chopped almonds
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Beat eggs and almond extract, then add to dry ingredients. Stir in almonds.
  4. Shape dough into two logs. Bake for 25 minutes.
  5. Cool slightly, slice diagonally, and bake for 10 more minutes.
  6. Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla for glaze. Drizzle over biscotti.
