Description

Baked zeppole are light and fluffy Italian doughnuts, perfect for a sweet treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp melted butter
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking sheet.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla. Stir until smooth.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of batter onto the baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden.
  6. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
