Description
Agnello al Forno con Patate is a classic Italian dish featuring tender roasted lamb with crispy potatoes.
Ingredients

- 1.5 kg leg of lamb
- 1 kg potatoes, peeled and quartered
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 sprigs rosemary
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup white wine
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Rub lamb with garlic, rosemary, salt, and pepper.
- Place potatoes in roasting pan and drizzle with olive oil.
- Put lamb on top of potatoes.
- Pour white wine around the lamb.
- Roast for 1.5 hours or until lamb reaches 60°C (140°F) internal temperature.
- Let rest 10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- Use a meat thermometer for perfect doneness.
- Add more wine if potatoes look dry during cooking.
